Michael S. LEE (USA)

Michael S. Lee, MD, is a professor of ophthalmology, neurology and neurosurgery and serves as the Residency Program Director in Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, where he holds the Mackall-Scheie Research Chair. He serves as director of the neuro-ophthalmology service and co-director of the Center for Thyroid Eye Disease at the University of Minnesota. He completed his medical degree and residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Lee finished his neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School, where he was awarded a Distinguished Teaching and Service Award.

Dr. Lee has over 120 peer-reviewed publications and serves on the Board of Directors of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society. He has served on the editorial boards of three international ophthalmology journals and chairs the neuro-ophthalmology section of the Annual Meeting Program Committee for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
