Message from Dr. Dennis Lam, Editor-in-Chief

Dear Colleagues,

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year ahead!

The Nov/Dec 2018 issue of APJO is now available online! This is a special issue on Prevention of Blindness, Ocular Epidemiology, Telemedicine, and Big Data. Led by our Guest Editors-in-Chiefs Drs Nathan Congdon, Mingguang He, and Guest Editors Drs Augusto Azuara-Blanco, Tony Realini, Amanda Davis, and Jialiang Zhao, this special issue highlights the use of new technologies in preventing visual impairment through early detections, novel treatments, tele-education, etc.

For 2019, I am thrilled to share with you that our first special issue will be on Ocular Imaging. We are most honoured to have Drs Neeru Gupta and Christopher Leung as Guest Editors-in-Chiefs, and Drs Carol Cheung, Ki Ho Park, Robert Weinreb, and Tien Yin Wong as Guest Editors.

With the dedicated efforts by renowned editors and authors, we greatly look forward to having stimulating and thought-provoking issues published in the coming year.

As always, I am indebted to the authors, reviewers, and Editorial Board Members for their unfailing support to the APJO. “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success!” By joining hands, APJO will continue to sail and develop further!

Sincerely yours,

Dennis Lam, MD
